Founder Nick Marcus spent years chasing that standard on a different stage — as a Division I basketball player, then as a professional overseas, where preparation and presence weren’t optional. How you looked, how you carried yourself, how ready you were before you ever stepped on the floor — all of it mattered.
That standard didn’t leave when the playing career did. It found a new home in business, in the classroom teaching the next generation of business leaders, and eventually in a barber chair in Biddeford, Maine — built around the same question: what does it actually take to help someone show up ready?
